Jenny joined the College in November 2021.

On completion of her Bachelor of Business Management from Griffith University degree in 2000, she secured herself an administration role within the Business School at Griffith University. While working fulltime she completed her Masters in Financial Planning also at Griffith University. She has continued with her administration role and took on the opportunity to tutor 1st year undergraduate students in areas of both Accounting and Financial Planning. After nearly 22 years at the university Jenny wanted something that was more challenging and a position that gave her satisfaction and allows her to achieve her goals in life. The opportunity at the College is one that she knows will give her lots of challenges and the opportunity to work with a team that is committed to get the best outcomes and how they can all make a difference to the workplace.

Jenny is married and lives with her husband on the southside of Brisbane. They have 2 adult children who still live in Brisbane.

She has 2 grandchildren which she loves spending time with and taking an interest in the things that they love in life.

After graduating from The University of Queensland in 1998, Jenny worked in mixed practice before embarking on an internship at The University of Queensland Small Animal clinic in Brisbane. In 2002 Jenny attained Membership of the College in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

Throughout her career, Jenny has held various roles within the Vet School, including clinician, lecturer, clinical educator, and researcher. She currently provides clinical teaching to final year BVSc students through her affiliation with UQ and Combined Vets of Logan City.

Jenny is a long-time examiner for the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council, promoting uniform educational standards through accreditation of veterinary schools and ensuring that eligible overseas veterinarians meet the standards required to practise in Australia and New Zealand.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, Jenny owns and operates a mobile veterinary service that specializes in providing in-home palliative care and end-of-life services for pets, offering compassionate support during difficult times.

Jenny is deeply passionate about promoting further education and professional development within the veterinary community, ensuring the highest standards of care for animals in need.
